State of the art test room equipment

Our commitment to an excellent customer experience means that we strive to offer the best, that is why we have  state of the art Topcon/Nikon retinal imaging systems, digital slit lamps and combined auto-keratometer/ auto-refractor units, with corneal topography.

We have now installed the new Topcon OCT 2000  3-Dimensional Retinal Scanners in all branches at a cost of over £280,000! Our commitment to new technology to detect problems at the earliest stages is second to none. This exciting leap forward in retinal imaging detects signs of disease in some cases up to 4 years earlier than any other method.

Frame scanners
To improve the quality of the spectacles we provide we have installed Nidek three dimensional spectacle frame scanners into each practice.  These scanners ensure the highest quality lens mounting.

Computing
Our practices boast leading edge software packages to ensure your experience with us is smooth, efficient and professional.

Glass Studio
Our practices boasts software written by scientists from the Russian space program. This allows the taking of pictures to compare different frames, selection of lenses with 3D representation of thickness of different materials and calculation of weights.

Computerised Test Chart
Our practices have the latest computerised test charts giving us a huge range of available tests. The simple things like random charts so that you can not memorise them, number charts, picture charts and shape charts as well as the more complex charts for more complex conditions.
